Called HxGN Local CAU2016, the Event will be hosted September 19-20, 2016, Houston, TX, USA

Caesar II Statics Training

CAESAR II Statics

The CAESAR II Statics class covers proper system modeling guidelines, methods of static analysis of piping systems, evaluation of system designs, and effective approaches to system redesign. The course is broken down into half-day sessions, each covering a major topic. Each of these sessions is not lecture based.  Content is applied to each core aspect of CAESAR II to facilitate hands on learning.  Each day will end with a discussion which reinforces the session topic.  The complete course lasts three days.

Day 1

• User interface fundamentals.
• Understanding code requirements for pipe stress analysis.
• Beam Bending theory, application to Nodes and Elements.
• Difference between force and strain based loads and rules for design.
• Determining the scope of analysis.
• CAESAR II best practice configuration settings.
• Piping input values and value propagation.
• Material Input values and understanding Section II Part D Allowable Stresses.
• Restraint types and application.
• Creating a CAESAR II model using Classic Piping Input.
• Importing a CAESAR II model using CADWorx Professional.

Day 2

• Setting up static load cases.

CADWorx fieldPIPE Professional and CADWorx Steel Professional Released!

New CADWorx Steel Purchases:

With the release of CADWorx Steel Professional 2015, the licensing of Steel Pro has been changed. Effective today, all “new” orders of Steel Professional will only be provided on SPLM (Smart Plant Licensing Manager) or Hasp Keys. Customers who want to add more seats will need to provide a Kill Code for their existing seats and migrate all their seats to either SPLM or ESL.   CrypKey does not require version upgrades like ESL, so users who do not need new licenses require no license updates.

Existing Customers:

Current Steel Pro customer upgrading to Steel Pro 2015 do not need to update their licensing,  however, CADWorx Steel Professional 2015 will now work with ESL and SPLM. If a current Steel Pro customer would like to have CADWorx Steel Professional 2015 added to the their existing HASP locks, they will need to provide a kill code and current log file.  Likewise, if they would like to to run CADWorx Steel Professional 2015 on SPLM, they will need to provide kill codes before new SPLM keys will be issued.

NOTE: There will be no charge for the update to the new licensing from the original CrypKey service.
