Use Cases
TAG Annotations
Almost every piping or electrical route is uniquely identified by stringing variables together like size, spec, service, number, etc. within CADWorx. ANNOWorx inserts these identification TAG values or just portions of them.
This enables users to be selective on the identification content.
For example, consider a TAG value like
12″-P-CL150-236-2″PP.
The ANNOTag could be formatted to insert as
12″-236.
Elevation Annotations
These annotations on mechanical and electrical plans and section drawings, so ANNOWorx helps with this too.
Users can insert values associated with the bottom, center, or top of routes.
For example, when piping is routed on top of steel, users may want to annotate the pipe elevation as the bottom of the pipe or BOP.
Since there is no way to annotate CADWorx Equipment, users will adopt this capability.
Select any component of a vessel, exchanger, pump, etc. and ANNOWorx inserts the ‘Equipment Name’.
ANNOWorx will label Equipment nozzles too. Every nozzle can be given a name, and this is what will be inserted. It is possible to annotate elevations, northings, and eastings too.
CADWorx has minimal capabilities when it comes to annotating piping components. In many situations, users want to annotate control valves, instruments, pipe supports, etc. with more than just their TAG, SHORT, or LONG DESCRIPTION.
ANNOWorx enables users to assemble tags, or labels, from just about every component attribute.
Formatting them with line breaks and separators provides a large array of options.
