New CADWorx Steel Purchases:

With the release of CADWorx Steel Professional 2015, the licensing of Steel Pro has been changed. Effective today, all “new” orders of Steel Professional will only be provided on SPLM (Smart Plant Licensing Manager) or Hasp Keys. Customers who want to add more seats will need to provide a Kill Code for their existing seats and migrate all their seats to either SPLM or ESL.   CrypKey does not require version upgrades like ESL, so users who do not need new licenses require no license updates.

Existing Customers:

Current Steel Pro customer upgrading to Steel Pro 2015 do not need to update their licensing,  however, CADWorx Steel Professional 2015 will now work with ESL and SPLM. If a current Steel Pro customer would like to have CADWorx Steel Professional 2015 added to the their existing HASP locks, they will need to provide a kill code and current log file.  Likewise, if they would like to to run CADWorx Steel Professional 2015 on SPLM, they will need to provide kill codes before new SPLM keys will be issued.

NOTE: There will be no charge for the update to the new licensing from the original CrypKey service.
